Appeal for information after attempted burglary at church

Just days after St Thomas’ Church in Colnbrook was burgled, Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary at the Langley Free Church on Trelawney Avenue.

On Wednesday (1/1) between 11.15am and 11.40am offenders attempted to gain entry to the church but were disturbed before they were able to steal any property.

PC Richard Lloyd, from Slough police station said:

This incident occurred in broad daylight on the corner of a major road in Langley. I would appeal for any motorists or passers-by who may have witnessed the offence to come forward.

He also appealed to the local community to assist the parishioners by reporting any suspicious activity at the church immediately to the police.
