The owner of a mobile food business who failed to show Slough Borough Council his waste disposal records has been fined.
The statutory consultation for Slough Borough Council’s Gating Order on Prescott Road, Poyle, has begun. The application follows the successful prosecution of Rajinder Jabbal, who was fined nearly £3000 for giving rubbish to an illegal waste carrier.
A CCTV camera has been installed at a fly-tipping hotspot and plans to close off a section of the road are being investigated in the council’s crackdown on waste dumping in the wake of another prosecution.
Cllr James Walsh has hailed the success of Slough Borough Council after a man was fined nearly £3,000 for fly tipping in the ward. The man pleaded guilty to one offence under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 for the incident which took place in Prescott Road.
