Pippins School will hold its annual Summer Fête this Saturday in the school grounds. The fête will take place from Midday until 3pm.
Slough children at Key Stage 2 level are performing above the national average, according to figures released by the government last week. But the figures mask disappointing results for nearly half of all primaries reporting results.
Colnbrook Primary has applied to Slough Borough Council for planning permission to erect a noise-proof igloo for outdoor lessons free from the disturbance of passing aircraft. Funding for the project has come from a Heathrow’s Community Buildings Noise Insulation Scheme.
