Colnbrook with Poyle’s crime rate has returned to “average” after a mini-crime way during February and March in which the number of crimes reported nearly doubled, according to figures published on the Police Crime Map website.
New Parish Council chairman Peter Hood has angered members of the stopSIFE campaign for his attack on “vulgar” banners at either end of the village.
Recently (re-)elected Borough and Parish Councillor Dexter Smith has promised to use his unique position serving on both councils to deal with the issues that matter to Colnbrook: “I believe we can achieve most for Colnbrook when our Borough Council and Parish Council work in harmony – I am in a unique position to build bridges and make that happen”.
Laurie Tucker has served this community for decades and in recognition of his works he will be made a Freeman of The Parish of Colnbrook with Poyle at the next Council meeting to be held in the Village Hall Vicarage Way 7.30 pm Tuesday 5th April.
