This time of year tends to be a time of reflection on things that we have done (or haven’t got around to doing!) during the past 12 months. The New Year often spurs us into making New Year’s Resolutions, starting something we’ve been meaning to get around to for a long time..joining the gym, decorating the house, giving up smoking etc. Here are a few alternative New Year Resolutions that you may wish to consider for 2012:

A reminder that on 1 December, Thames Valley Police launched its Christmas anti-drink and drug drive campaign, which will run until Sunday 1 January 2012.
Between Monday 1 December to Thursday 15 December, 141 people were arrested on suspicion of drink driving in the Thames Valley Police area.
Due to the continued rising value of precious metals including gold we have seen a large number of burglaries here in Slough where the theft of Asian jewellery has featured in many of the incidents.
As a result of the ongoing amount of advice given out via this messaging system, it’s very rare we see one of our “members” being a victim of burglary and therefore we would very much like to introduce new people to the data base.
