With the kind support of the Management and Staff of the Ostrich Pub, the CCA were able to provide diners with a special Roast Rib of Beef menu with all the trimmings and a seasonal crumble dessert with all the proceeds that were raised going towards future renovation work needed to be carried out at the Westfield Hall.
On the 14th Aug 2011 the CCA hosted a BBQ; its first fund raising event in the village. The weather obliged, the band played everyones favourite tunes and the food Brian Linton and Alastair Metcalfe served up had everyone coming back for more!
