Chief Constable thanks communities for support in Christmas message
Thames Valley has praised the level of support it gets from local communities in a Christmas message issued yesterday.
Thames Valley Police’s Chief Constable Francis Habgood has issued a message in the lead up to Christmas and the New Year as part of his monthly review.
Chief Constable Francis Habgood, said:
“Whatever your own personal beliefs, this is a time to reflect on the year that’s just been, to look forward to the year ahead, and also to spend time with family and friends.
“In the Thames Valley we’ve been really busy with lots of operational incidents through the year. Serious incidents on our roads, dealing with serious crimes, protecting the public at times of need, providing emergency response, but we’ve been able to do that because of the support we get from our many partners, but also the support we get from our communities, and I’m really grateful for that.
“We will be working hard to make sure that our communities are safe in the year ahead, and I hope that I can look forward to your support again in doing that. I wish you all, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you.”
