Colnbrook based wnDirect signs 5-year deal as it prepares to send its 30,000,000th parcel!
Colnbrook-based wnDirect has signed a five-year contract that, it says, will allow it to build on its spectacular success since it was established just five years ago.
More good news on the business front. wnDirect, based in Millbrook Way in the Poyle Trading Estate, is getting ready to send its thirty millionth parcel since it was set up in 2011.
The company announced at the end of last month that it has signed a further five-year contract with eCommerce processing specialist and partner TPC Ltd.
The home grown company helps retailers ‘go global’, offering tailored eCommerce solutions. It was named Best Business in Slough in March at the second Slough Business Awards held in the Hilton Terminal 5 on Poyle Road. wnDirect aslo won a second award for innovation at the event.
Partner TPC has supported wnDirect since it launched its international eCommerce solution in 2012. During that time both companies have grown significantly, attributing their success to “a common ethos which has enabled a partnership based on trust to be founded”.
… in the coming weeks we will be celebrating the delivery of our 30,000,000th parcel together – quite an achievement
Tara Bathija, Head of Operations at wnDirect said:
“The phrases ‘trust’, ‘partnership’ and ‘working with integrity’ are often bandied about. However, our relationship with TPC genuinely reflects those things. TPC has been flexible enough to enable us to grow as a business and, in the coming weeks we will be celebrating the delivery of our 30,000,000th parcel together – quite an achievement.”
As it approaches that milestone the company has placed a counter on its website showing how many packages it has sent and how many miles it has travelled to fulfil those deliveries.
wnDirect already works for some of the world’s biggest retailers as well as smaller brands for whom a good reputation is vital.
“All the brands we work with entrust us with being part of their supply chain and, therefore, a large part of whether the customer has a positive or negative experience falls to us.
“This is not a responsibility we take lightly and, thankfully, in TPC we have found a partner who also appreciates the weight of responsibility that comes with this commitment.”
