Colnbrook forgotten from interactive healthy Slough map
An interactive map showing healthy activities in Slough produced as part of the “I love Slough” project has forgotten Colnbrook.
The Google map pinpointing health and wellbeing activities and leisure centres has been produced as part of a new creative partnership.
The Healthy Slough map has been created as part of the ‘I Love Slough’ partnership project led by film production training company Resource Productions and housing group A2Dominion and part funded by Slough Borough Council.
Despite being bounded by reservoirs and open countryside – and having two Green Flag parks within its borders, Colnbrook has so far contributed nothing to the map. Langley and Foxborough similarly have nothing positive to offer in the current montage. However, residents are encouraged to send in photographs of the town to be used on the map.
The project focused on bringing together people from all backgrounds and age groups to find and photograph the positive landmarks across Slough to promote a positive perception of living in the borough.
