Colnbrook NAG hears details of further clean-ups throughout the village
The minutes from the Neighbourhood Action Group meeting on Wednesday 30th March, the last before the NAG holds an election for a new chair, have now been published.
The Neighbourhood Action Group has heard updates on the clean-up of the Willow Close ditch, as well as the removal of fly-tipping from Millbrook Way, litter from the Cherwell Close car park, and rubbish from the ‘Theale’ site about to be developed.
Unfortunately a large amount of rubble and building material has since been dumped at Millbrook Way and although it was captured on CCTV cameras the perpetrators had removed the number plates from the lorry and had used bright lights to avoid being identified on CCTV.
Diane Viechweg from Slough Borough Council had stated that it was “disappointing” that they were unable to pursue the culprits. She also advised the group that notices for foreign lorry drivers will be in position soon.
The NAG will meet again on 27th April 2016 in the Village Hall, at 7:30pm.
