Colnbrook’s Hellmann announces major new partnership
More signs of a recovering local economy. Pallet-Track is to expand into continental Europe after signing a partnership deal with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK.
Hellman’s operation in Colnbrook Lakeside has been given a further boost with news that it has signed a partnership with Pallet-Track that will generate a further 25,000 deliveries a year for the company.
Operations are due to start in September. Pallet-Track will have access to a Hellmann’s network across 56 countries. And Hellmann benefits from access to some target UK markets.
Pallet-Track managing director Nigel Parkes said Hellmann offers it the potential to reach European markets while it can offer Hellmann – one of the top 30 freight companies in Europe – “a strong network, the right technology and access to the key UK markets it wants to reach”.
The deal will enable Hellmann to service three additional London postcodes.
Matthew Marriott, commercial director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK, said:
“After a positive start to the year, and the continued success of our Colnbrook distribution depot, we’re confident that the relationship with Pallet-Track will only enhance our service levels. A lot of research was carried out and we made the decision that the partnership was perfectly suited to Hellmann.”
