Colnbrook’s TICCO announces 10-year deal to provide fleet of “tasty trucks”
More good news on the business front. TICCO Foods based in the Poyle Industrial Estate has announced a new 10-year deal with food logistics provider ACS&T to provide a fleet of “tasty trucks”.
The deal will see the installation of a new 1,500-pallet frozen, chilled and ambient cold storage facility, and ACS&T will take over the operation of Ticco‘s existing 12-vehicle van delivery fleet.
The company began in 1994 supplying traditional Milanese desserts to Italian restaurants. Today it also supplies a wide range of British, French and American inspired food products to pubs and leisure outlets across the UK and Ireland.
The initial preparations for the new scheme saw the two companies working together on construction of the facility in Colnbrook, ready for the launch, which took two weeks ago.
Look out for our new trucks, but beware – they may just make you hungry …
Jay Sangerha, managing director, said the tie-up would enable it to provide a fully integrated service to all its customers, and delivery high quality goods throughout the UK.
The company says to look out for its new “TICCO tasty trucks” which will feature images of its products.
