Community Association aims to extend Youth Club to younger children
While Tuesday sessions of the Colnbrook Youth Club start again for registration tomorrow, Tuesday 6th January, the CCA says it wants to extend the service in 2015.
The successful Colnbrook Youth Club kicks off again tomorrow evening for 10-19 year olds in the village.
Offering the “well proven mix of fun & games, sports and discussions from time to time”, the Tuesday sessions will continue at St Thomas’ Church from 6pm, says the Colnbrook Community Association which runs the club.
The CCA has revealed on its website that it wants to extend the service in 2015.
It is aiming to put together a new programme for 2015 to include younger children.
In its New Year message to residents and partners it has listed the Youth Club and associated Summer Camp among its 2014 successes – along with the Summer Fair, environmental improvements about the village, Heathrow expansion meeting, and help setting up the NAG and FAG.
However, it has called on residents with time on their hands to help out:
“Do you have an hour per week to spare? Why not become an active CCA member and help your local area whether it be Brands Hill, Westfield, Poyle or Colnbrook Village.”
For more details about the Youth Club, or to make offers of help, contact Charles Burke, CCA secretary, on 07940131778 or email ColnbrookCA@live.co.uk.
Registrations commence in St Thomas’ Church from 6pm.
