I have lived in Colnbrook for 33 years, during which time I have been involved in many community initiatives. In 1979 I joined the fund raising committee of the 1st Colnbrook Scout Group and served as Treasurer of the Group up until it disbanded in the late 80s. I was also very active in opposing overdevelopment in the village.

On my retirement in 2007, I joined the Parish Council, whilst still leading the joint Horton and Colnbrook opposition to the gravel extraction in Horton Road.

During my time serving the community, I have been:-

  • Founder member of Colnbrook N.A.G.
  • Member of Slough Community Crime-Fighters
  • Member of the Biffa Landfill Liaison Committee
  • Editing and production of bi-annual newsletter
  • Treasurer of Colnbrook Community Partnership
  • Member of the Colnbrook Environmental Working Group

I am opposed to any increased in flights from Heathrow which will cause a dramatic increase in road improvements, and thus pollution, throughout the Parish.
