Concerns raised for children as Colnbrook rubbish left uncollected

The Colnbrook Community Association lobbied for the removal of overflowing rubbish and contaminated sandbags from the car park opposite the Children’s Centre, Colnbrook Views has learned.

As the photographs illustrate, the recycling bins in the car park of Colnbrook Village Hall had been allowed to get into an appalling state with bins overflowing onto the ground, and unwanted sandbags left uncollected.

The recycling centre is in close proximity to the Children’s Centre, Youth Club and Village Hall.

The photo’s were taken by a concerned resident who alerted the CCA, concerned that children may play with sandbags potentially contaminated by floodwater.
