Dates announced for the Colnbrook Games …

It’s official.  Colnbrook will have it’s very own Olympics next month, courtesy of the Parish Council and Thames Valley Police!

The Parish Council have today announced the “Colnbrook Games” will be held between 2nd and 23rd August.

The brainchild of Ward and Parish Councillor Dexter Smith, the project was discussed at the last Parish Council meeting before the recess.  A working group comprising Councillors Smith, Hood, Laxman and Jarrett along with PCSO’s Kinealy and Mingola will oversee the Games.

Colnbrook’s “Olympic” venues will be the Village Hall, Westfield Hall, St Thomas’ Church, Poyle Driving Range, and Pippins Park.

The Games will be open to 10 to 16 year olds and no registration will be necessary – just turn up on the day!
