Yes it is very generous of Lanz to fork out the £500. However and it is possibly a co-incidence at the same time Lanz have applied to SBC to add two new waste categories under planning application. The same application was dealt with by Parish Council with ‘no comment’ . Surely since the planning application has not yet been decided by SBC , it could be seen as an awkward situation the Parish Council could find themselves in.

We are amazed that Cllr Hood has been allowed to continue as Chairman of the Parish Council after so may instances of bringing it into disrepute, particularly over the past three years (actually 23 years from first being elected).

We see that SBC have included Colnbrook with Poyle in the reconvened governance review despite that not being the plan in July, and wonder if the powers that be at SBC have seen your write up on that sloppy bit of fiction Cllr Hood labelled a Chairman’s Report?

If so, and with Cllr Hood obviously not learning from that fiasco judging from the article above, perhaps his days, and those of the Parish Council, are well and truly numbered.

The man is an absolute disgrace to his fellow councillors, the post of Freeman of the Village, the institution he so inadequately represents, and lastly but by no means least, the tolerant residents of Colnbrook with Poyle. If the man had an honourable bone in his body he would announce his “retirement” before he is barred from holding public office and stripped of his Freeman-ship.

Keep digging Cllr Hood, your time is up; it’s time for you to go!
