Further thefts from vehicles follows burglary-free day across Slough
Following an unprecedented zero burglaries reported anywhere in Slough, police have revealed details of further thefts from vehicles throughout the ward.
Local Police took the unusual step of announcing there were no overnight burglaries reported anywhere in Slough on Tuesday April 15.
But on Colnbrook High Street, the rear window of a Nissan Juke was smashed and a sports bag stolen between Thursday April 17 and Friday 18. The bag which was recovered nearby.
The theft follows an incident on the High Street the previous week between 7pm and 9pm on April 8 when offenders gained entry to numerous vehicles by smashing rear windows, stealing laptops, bags and various paper documents.
In Brands Road, Brands Hill, front and rear number plates were stolen from a VW Caddy van between 10pm and midnight on April 12.
And in Drift Way entry was gained to a Renault Van by unknown means and tools stolen. A rack preventing access to the tools had all screws removed and rack taken out. The incident happened between 4:30pm on Wednesday April 26 and 2pm the following Saturday.
