Grundons welcomes Prince George!

Grundons Waste Management has welcomed the birth of Prince George of Cambridge.

Colnbrook-based Grundons has held a Royal Warrant since 2009 according to the Slough Observer and sent their personal congratulations to the royal couple.

Messages of congratulations have “poured in” from Slough and the Royal Borough, the newspaper has reported.

Grundons, which operates the super-incinerator at Lakeside Industrial Estate, funded the recent refurbishment of the St Thomas Quiet Garden through its Landfill Communities Fund.

A spokeswoman for Grundons said:

“Royal Warrant Holders, Grundon Waste Management Limited was delighted to hear the announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy and send its congratulations and best wishes to the Royal couple.”

Colnbrook Views, similarly, would like to congratulate the royal couple – but without the blatant PR stunt.
