Knife-wielding robber makes off with cash after service station raid
A robber armed with a knife stole cash from a Colnbrook service station in an early-morning raid, the Slough Observer reports.
The offender demanded money from a worker at the Golden Cross Service Station, in High Street, Colnbrook, at around 5.30am on Wednesday June 4.
He flashed what looked like a knife causing the victim to back into the corner, before he raided the till and fled.
Detective Sergeant Jennifer Mckie, from Slough Force CID, said:
“I believe a male customer may have tried to enter the store during the robbery but left as he saw the incident unfolding and I would like to appeal to that person to speak to an officer about what he saw.”
The robber is described as white, was wearing a blue hooded top with white lines along the shoulders and hood and a white motif on the chest. He was wearing grey trousers and black and white trainers.
