Medieval theme of CAST’s Christmas panto will be nod to local Magna Carta celebrations
CAST hopes that its Christmas panto, Camelot the Panto, will recapture the atmosphere of this year’s Magna Carta celebrations and see youngsters don their medieval costumes once more.
CAST has announced that its Christmas panto this year will be ‘Camelot the Panto’.
The traditional pantomime adventure will be directed by CAST stalwart Steve Oakes, and will (of course) feature heroes and villains, princes and princesses, and more.
… heroes and villains, princes and princesses, our Dame, an invisible knight, a giant teddy and, no doubt, a nod or two towards Spamalot along the way!
CAST says the medieval theme also ties in with the “great local significance” of the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta signing.
It hopes that youngsters in the village attending will don their medieval costumes once more and attend dressed as knights and princesses to join in the theme.
The show will be staged at Colnbrook Village Hall from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th December 2015, with matinee performances on both Saturday and Sunday.
