Mr Jones has held the position of Acting Chief Executive since October. He joined as General Secretary in 2006.

Jones said:

I saw my first road rally when I was 17 and realised then that I wanted to be part of the sport, but could never have imagined that I would one day be appointed as CEO of one of the most respected motor sport governing bodies in the world.
