New-look Café style Colnbrook Youth Club for the Spring
The Colnbrook Community Association has launched a new-look Youth Club to coincide with the lighter evenings.
The Colnbrook Youth Club is being relaunched with a “café style” approach for the Spring that will give members the opportunity to take part in organised sessions or just relax with friends.
The Colnbrook Community Association announced the changes on Friday, confirming that it will continue to work with SBC Youth Service and Youth Engagement Slough (YES) to provide the service. Funding has now been continued to the end of 2016.
This changes are intended to make for a more free environment, with a choice of activities and team games, along with several indoor leagues. Outdoor games on offer include dodge ball and smash badminton, along with 5-a-side football, basketball, cricket and netball.
The free sessions will continue to be held in St Thomas’ Church on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-8pm, and remain open to those aged 10 to 19.
The CCA says it is currently seeking volunteers to help out. Call 07940131778 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
