Nisa will make a return to Colnbrook next week, 2 years since its last store in the village was taken over by Budgens … and the new shop aims to drive prices down in the village.

A new Nisa Local format store will be opening next week in the shop on Park Street, for three decades, home to the Battoos and the Colnbrook Post Office.

Promising to provide “the best customer service”, the new store could give Budgens a run for its money, being just a few doors away.

New manager Jay, from Slough, has been in the retail business for over 16 years and is promising low prices ad regular promotions.

The former Nisa Local on Bridge Street, before it was taken over by Budgens.

He has apologised to residents for keeping the shop closed for the last six weeks in the run-up to the launch.

He says the new store needs the support of residents if it is to be a success.

Jay has revealed the new store will open at 5 Park Street on 4th August.
