New scheme offers funding for sustainable transport to Colnbrook faith sites
Colnbrook Faith Sites are now eligible for funding to help improve air quality and accessibility across West London!
Colnbrook’s many faith sites are now eligible for a new and innovative scheme which seeks to improve local air quality and accessibility across West London which is funded by the Mayor’s Cleaner Air Programme.
WestTrans, a partnership of the six London Boroughs of Ealing, Brent, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow, are running the scheme and would like to hear from local faith sites and community groups who want assistance to make their site more sustainable.
Participating faith sites will receive advice and information about how to make transport for visitors more sustainable and will also be able to access funding for on-site improvements like Cycle stands, cycle training, servicing, bike maintenance and assistance to produce site specific ‘how to get to’ maps and guides as well as match-funding opportunities for innovative sustainable travel initiatives.
For really proactive faith communities, WestTrans offer match-funding opportunity for innovative sustainable travel initiatives to encourage further engagement in active travel.
If you think your faith site could benefit from this project then please download the attached flyer for more information or alternatively contact WestTrans directly by calling 020 8825 9635 or emailing WestTransTravelPlans@ealing.gov.uk
