Space Station offers free moves to celebrate new service
Space Station Self Storage, a real Colnbrook success story, is offering to move customer’s goods for free!
Space Station Self Storage has launched a removals service for home movers and businesses.
The company, these days headquartered in Slough and with branches in Brentford, Uxbridge and Isleworth, is also running a special offer to launch its new offering. If a customer rents from one of Space Station’s storage units for a minimum of eight weeks, the company will move the customer’s goods free of charge if the move is within 5 miles of one of Space Station’s stores.
The company displayed generosity towards Colnbrook during the recent flooding, offering to provide free storage for affected residents.
The company was founded in 1983 by Alastair Caldwell, who was formerly team manager for the McLaren Formula 1 team, managing drivers such as James Hunt, Nelson Piquet and Emerson Fittipaldi.
The first Space Station self storage site was in Colnbrook, and the first Brentford store followed in 1984. Brentford Station, Isleworth, Slough and Uxbridge followed. Space Station now has twenty-six staff working in five stores, with a total of 250,000 square feet of storage space. Sadly, no longer a store in Colnbrook.
Space Station’s staff will collect the customer’s goods from home and deliver them to their nearest secure, purpose-built self storage centre, where the goods will be put away safely into individual, lockable storage room, to which the customer has free unlimited access seven days a week.
