A Kia Sorento with registration WPO5 AMV has been reported stolen from Crown Meadow, Colnbrook, on Friday night.
Thames Valley issued an appeal on Wednesday for witnesses to an astonishing carjacking in which an elderly man driving to Colnbrook was assaulted. His car was later recovered in Crown Meadow.
Nearly one in three Slough crimes in key categories were carried out in Colnbrook last weekend according to an update from Thames Valley today. Four burglaries and thirteen vehicle-related crimes were reported across the borough, with five occuring in Colnbrook, Poyle or Brands Hill.
Slough Borough Council’s cabinet will be asked next week to approve support for a major northwards expansion of the town into South Bucks to find room for 5,000 of the 20,000 new homes needed.
A new housing development off Crown Meadow is being actively pursued by Slough Borough Council as part of a strategy to address the town’s housing shortage. The greenfield site which sits between the Queen Mother Reservoir and Brands Hill is one of a number of proposals being brought forward as part of a southern expansion of the town.
