Local PCSO Pietro Mingola reported to the March meeting of the Parish Council’s Finance & Policy Committee that crime is down in Colnbrook in a testament to the effectiveness of the Parish Council’s strategy of providing additional funding.
Mike Rayner last week presented a cheque for £2,000 on behalf of the Rayner Family Trust to the Jubilee Clock fund. At a special award ceremony on 19th July, Parish Council chairman Peter Hood presented the cup to Mr Rayner for his “outstanding but often unnoticed work in the community during the last fifty-five years”.
The Parish Council is attempting to secure a lease on George Meadow to make it available to the community. Talks with landowner Jimmy Swanston are set to continue.

Vice-Chairman of the Parish Council informed the Finance and Policy Committee Meeting on 21st February that he has secured a royal guest to unveil the new Jubilee Clock. HRH The Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to unveil the new Jubilee Clock at a future date to be arranged.
The next meeting of the elusive Colnbrook Residents Assocation will take place at the Village Hall on Thursday, 9th February.
